| Random Manic Ramblings |
Those who know me particularly well know that I have been known to flit from idea to idea without segway, and that every day brings in desires for new experiences. One day I want to open my own bar, the next I want to become a professional poker player, the next a stay-at-home dad. Anyone who has seen my job history knows that I have worked in all sorts of fields, from grocery to food service to education administration to behavioral health. Psychiatrists call this topical buffet "mania", most commonly associated with manic/depressive disorder. I, however, do not associate myself with MDD, as MDD is also characterized by extreme mood swings and bouts of instability, not to mention the entire "depressive" part of the disorder which I hardly ever possess.
Nonetheless, you'll sometimes see me go off on any number of tangents or hear me bring up subjects seemingly out of the blue. Below is the listing of the occasions when I decided to put finger-to-keyboard, and will be the closest thing to a journal as you'll ever see. |
